I am a Sacramento-born, LA-based editor and filmmaker. Film -- and the process of putting a film together -- has guided my life since I was 12 years old making a short western for my great grandpa's birthday.

I look at editing as a reflection of life’s many rhythms. Growing up in a household that valued music over most things, I was taught from a very young age that life can be just as chaotic as playing with a toy drum set or just as symphonic as an orchestral piece.

With my editing, I strive to mimic the musicality of our everyday world with every cut. Whether it’s a broad comedy or a soft-spoken slice-of-life piece, I have always found the truth to be evident in pulse. Throughout my work, I’ve prioritized how images are shown just as much as what images are shown.

Going forward, I will continue to view editing as the literal life force of any visual medium— pulsing through each frame as a direct reflection of characters and scenarios.
